GEORGE'S VIEWS FOR
As a father of four, I strive to instill discipline, respect and love to my children and encourage others to do the same.
Schools should not be failing, every school must perform at the same high standards expected of them. I vow to hold administrators, not just teachers, accountable for student development.
A strong community is essential to a successful society. Community involvement is needed to make sure government runs smoothly.
ABOUT GEORGE GARZA
A Veteran with a Vision
George Garza is a veteran and family man. He first gained interest in politics when he came to learn about 50/50 parenting resolutions that were being passed over in the Texas legislature. From there he realized the multiple injustices facing Texas. Failing school systems, inadequate senior care, increased property taxes, rise in homelessness, and young people who are not equipped to compete in an ever changing workforce.
George Garza was raised on the southeast side of San Antonio and graduated from East Central High School. He cherishes the rich history of the south side of San Antonio and wishes to preserve it. Along with his south side pride he does realize that our eastern and northeastern side of our district sometimes gets over looked. District 119 is a diverse area and many of it's areas are rapidly developing. George Garza would like to ensure that the citizens of 119 benefit first from the growth before outside entities do.
Be The Change, You Want to See
Texas is a proud a state with great citizens. Together we can have our voices heard for a meaningful change for the future of our children and generations to come.
